Vaaacaaatioooon!!

No, I am not announcing I am going on vacation, but that that I am back from vacation!

I had a tooon of fun going to coast with my best friends

(husband!)!! Was my first time to the beach EVER EVER EEEEVEEEER And it was AAAAAWESOOOOOME! I LOVED the beach! I even caught a crab and she was very rude and spit water at me... Nonetheless! Dream home location? The Oregon Coooast! Recommended to EVERYONE! EEEEVEEERYOOOONE!!! Go to the Oregon Coast! @,.,@

On a different note, I am reared for some ART! ALSO

and I decided we would try and make a comic.. what about, I have no clue! But I better get to practicing some full bodies or it'll be a bunch of eye balls and or busts talking to each other!! XD

Got any ideas? I am open to a few suggestions but I have to say I am at liberty to yay or nay! lol

What's your Pokemon?

So I've been inspired recently by a new game I reeeeally want on my 3DS!

Pokemon Art Academy!

To a lot of people, this may sound silly, but to me... nooo... this is going to be THE SHIT!!! I really hate when I have to be out and about and I got all these neat ideas I want to do or I want to practice cause I am just sitting about in public bored out of my mind (No, I am not a totally social person, especially in big groups. XD) and with this.. this is a really awesome looking program I suggest to ANYONE with a 3DS, likes to draw, and LOVES Pokemon! (preferably a xl one like I got!) It teaches you everything from basics to advanced levels on how to draw all your favorite Pokemon!

It's sadly not out yet, but the price is $29.96, and it is suppose to be coming to us NEXT MONTH!! YAY!!! *Pre-orders* :squee:

Best place to check it out and pre-order would be on your Nintendo Marketplace on your DS's! Or your can even pre-order it at a lot of your local stores like Wal-Mart or Gamestop, etc.

Also excited about the new Pokemon game releases. They are doing revisions of Sapphire and Ruby! Which from what I understand, since I've never played original Sapphire or Ruby, it's suppose to be super cool! My husband is very excited over it, which tells me something because he is pretty big into Pokemon. Been playing since Gen 1 and actually won the tournament to compete for all of Oregon during Pokemon's 10th Anniversary... he really loves Pokemon. lol

But from what I am hearing.. no new Pokemons! Sad dummy

Total sad face!! But that is okay, because I am still working on breeding to get my perfects on my favorite Pokemons! Like Pumpkaboo! My Favorite Pokemon EVER! He's so COOTE!

OH YEAH!! Which brings me back full circle to my inspiration! lol I decided while I wait for the Pokemon Art Academy to come out, I would practice Pokemons! I recently did a Pumpkaboo that I am feeling pretty proud of, especially since it was an experimental color idea! But I want to do MORE Pokemon like the Pumpkaboo!! Idea

So I was thinking... if you tell me what your favorite Pokemon is and I like it, I'll do a Pokemon just like my Pumpkaboo and give it to you as a present!!

Progress, Time, and Commissions!

Whew! What a long crazy journey!

Saving everyone for the boring details of my crazy moves and dramatic turn in life, I am so very happy to say... I can finally sit in my own space and draw!

I am happy to announce, that after having posted my recent work and received 2 or 3 requests (That I truly was not comfortable with or ready for), that I will actually start doing commissions!

I am ONLY doing busts as that is as comfortable as I am going to get at this moment doing someone else's character!

Sketch / Black and White - $2.50

Colored Sketch Attempts - $5

When I do a colored sketch commission you will get both the black and white sketch and the colored one!

Note that times may vary between when you get your commissions. I could take a couple of days to a couple of weeks depending on how my RL is going!

Life...

I kind of feel bad, I don't think I draw nearly as much as I should, and when I do it's always on paper with pencil and I can never get it them scanned, and when I try to their never worth posting on DA because it looks HORRIBLE! (How the hell to other artists SCAN their work onto the compo and have it look so damn good...) Maybe this year I need to make the goal for myself to actually make a post on DA. Even if just once a month! Maybe I'll get some of my friends to make requests for me so I have something in mind to draw until I can get into a rhythm. So I'm going to try and make at least 1 post every month! And figure out how people scan their work so nicely..
